Introducing our 12-inch Darth Vader figurine, a collaborative masterpiece with master figurine maker, Toby Pikelin. This entirely handmade sculpture embodies Vader's iconic presence, featuring a wire armature covered in foam and synthetic batting. Its custom costume, hand and machine-sewn with embroidered embellishments, complements the hand-sculpted helmet and gloves crafted from flexible polymer clay. The boots, made of black leather with real stitching and polymer clay soles, add authenticity. Mounted on a black acrylic-coated wooden platform finished in resin, it's a singular art piece capturing the essence of Star Wars with meticulous detail and artistic finesse.

What sets this collaboration apart is the fusion of talents between myself, Ken Kelleher, and Toby Pikelin. Toby's expertise in sculpting and design, combined with my vision and direction, has resulted in a truly exceptional piece that pays homage to one of the most iconic characters in popular culture. The collaborative effort shines through in every aspect of the figure, showcasing a harmonious blend of artistic styles and techniques.

Toby Pikelin is a Vancouver, Canada based multidisciplinary visual artist with a focus on miniature prop, set and puppet making for stop motion animation. She works in film as an art director making sets, props and costumes while maintaining her diverse personal art practice.
